LHi Group have placed 8th in the prestigious Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies To Work For list. This list showcases companies who are outstanding employers, creating exceptional cultures, benefits, incentive schemes and environments for their employees to thrive in during their careers.

LHi Group are no strangers to the Best Companies limelight having been listed twice previously in 2014 and 2015 as Lawrence Harvey Group before their restructure and rebrand last year. Head of People Anne-Marie Butts said:

“Re-entering the awards as LHi Group was a real gamble for us as, under the Lawrence Harvey name, we were so successful and had built a strong employer brand. Coming 7th in 2015 was amazing and this year, to be 8th and in the top 10 is incredible. We’re really glad to have again been acknowledged and awarded for the culture and environment we continue to have here at LHi”

The restructure of the Group and rebrand to LHi was spear headed by founder and CEO, Tom Glanfield. LHi Group consists of four non-competing brands each specialising in one area of expertise. Lawrence Harvey, the first brand to have opened in 2002, is the Group’s technology specialist. The well-established life sciences division became SciPro last year, Harper Harrison are the Groups Built Environment specialist and Piper Maddox, based in New York, are purely focused on renewable energy. The clear definition of the brands and introduction of new benefits, including flexible working and early finishes every Friday, on top of Tom giving away 50% equity to staff, seems to have been a big hit with employees. The position in the list weighs heavily on the results from an employee engagement survey in which questions are asked to obtain levels of contentment/discontentment with the company’s leadership, brand and policies.

Ranking 5th in the list overall in the area of personal growth, LHi employees, across all brands, felt that training offered within the business was of great benefit to them personally and not just job focussed.  Something that the business and Tom Glanfield is particularly proud of.

“Investing in the development of individuals is paramount to the success of the business, and to be recognised for this in such a prestigious list is a huge achievement”

Glanfield is overjoyed to have made the list again this year,

“this is such a special thing to be a part of as the most important thing to us is our people. Knowing, from the survey results, that they are happy and thriving in this environment is music to my ears. If I created Lawrence Harvey, WE created LHi so this really is a great testament to the people who have helped make this a fantastic place to work. We are hiring across all brands in London, New York, San Francisco and Munich. There really couldn’t be a better time to join the team.”
