Last week marked the release of the 11th annual Sunday Times International Fast Track 200. This league table ranks Britain’s mid-market private companies based on the fastest-growing international sales over the last two years.

LHi Group are extremely proud to have ranked 25th in the list, with an international growth of 105%
per annum.

As an award-winning recruitment company that launched in 2002 (from an attic in Clapham using only a £9,000 graduate loan), LHi has been on an incredible journey. They have transitioned from a highly successful London-based firm, to a global Group company consisting of 5 brands situated in 8 offices, spanning 5 countries and 2 continents. In the last two years they have invested heavily into their international offices and have seen two new US office openings including the most recent in Austin, Texas. As a Group, they have also ventured in to new markets such as Clean Energy (replacing the old Oil & Gas offering) and have quickly built strong reputations due to the high standards and specialist nature of their work, all of which has contributed to their overseas revenue hitting £22.8 million in 2018 alone.

“Our ability to work with clients on a global scale in our niche domains gives us the opportunity to add more value to the client, building better partnerships and working internally as a collaborative global team” said Mike Bott, USA Managing Director, we are expecting to see more growth over the coming years, truly making a difference to the markets we are in and offering amazing opportunities to those within LHi.”

LHi has put a huge focus on implementing an outstanding leadership structure that has included the appointment of a new CEO in Jim Denning, an experienced CFO in Edward Parkes, and Directors internationally across the group. Under their leadership, the success of the company has attributed in LHi Group almost doubling their headcount since 2018, from 114 to 220 today.

Chairman, James Ash commented,

“We are three years into a five-year plan that has seen us transition from an owner-managed, predominantly London and Technology focused business into a truly international multi-brand operation which is now lead by a group of senior managers who have developed into an exceptional team capable of realising the potential of the platform we have built in the next phase of our growth.”

Jim Denning, CEO is delighted to have received this recognition in the Sunday Times for their International Growth, and wants to congratulate the international leaders who go the extra mile every month to push each and everyone one of their teams to get better, and importantly do so with a “people first” approach. Not only is LHi a great place to work, but this ranking shows their position as an ambitious, talented group, striving to achieve the best. “It’s fantastic to see LHi place so well on this list. We have built a phenomenal leadership team that are passionate about leading with a ‘people first’ mindset. Recognition such as this really allows us to commit to LHi’s international growth plans and I’m incredibly excited to see this journey continue in 2020 and beyond.”

Founder of LHi Group Tom Glanfield is proud of the international growth recognition, “From humble beginnings to Internationally recognised success just sums up our incredible spirit and our continued, relentless, inspiring journey. We are all part of something very special and everyone should feel proud of this recognition.”
