LHi Group NYC sits 70 diversely experienced niche recruitment and sales professionals and an all encompassing Operations and people team. The NYC office is overlooking the skyline of Manhattan's business district located in FiDi. Our NYC group is seeking an entry level Office Assistant to play an integral role in our office presence, success and group expansion through various projects and tasks starting this July. 

The day to day of an Office Assistant involves:

  • Training across an international, regional and NYC based team
  • Managing of inventory stock and the ordering new stationery and office supplies
  • Dealing outgoing post daily, including couriers
  • Setting up, cleaning and organizing meeting rooms and IT 
  • Booking travel and accommodation arrangements across the business
  • Planning office incentives such as special outings for our top performers         and team building activities
  • Introducing as point of contact for office related matters including building maintenance 
  • Liaise with our IT support & the sales floor on first line troubleshooting
  • Assist with database and technical building/tidying
  • Organize internal and external company events
  • Support the wider team with IT/Business projects
  • Order and set up new computer hardware
  • Collaborate with marketing team on global business roll-outs

Office Assistant Skills & Competencies:

  • Organized & thorough attention to detail to ensure quality and standards are met
  • Bright, positive in-office presence with a can-do approach to varied tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing with given deadlines
  • Proactive in spotting business areas for support, including amending and creating processes and procedures
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Confidentially managing sensitive business related tasks
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ensure quality and standards are met 
  • Act as the ‘face of the company’ and be socially aware of all employees, their integration and inclusion into the business during onboarding 
  • Demonstrate professional, positive and consistent behaviors in line with company ethos 
  • A solution oriented, creative and out of the box mindset demonstrated
  • Culture champion/willingness to integrate and promote office culture and social activities
  • Tech-savvy research for troubleshooting new tech issues

  • Standard 8:30 - 5:30 weekly hours with a paid hour lunch break daily 
  • Flexible 1.5 hour paid lunches 2x per week available upon request
  • $45,000 - $48,000 yearly entry base salary paid biweekly
