Position Title: Finance Manager
Position Duties:
- Oversee and manage the financial operations for our company, including the preparation of management accounts, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accounting principles;
- Prepare financial or regulatory reports required by laws, regulations, or the Board of Directors;
- Develop and analyze information to assess the current and future financial status of forms;
- Approve, reject, or coordinate the approval or rejection of lines of credit or commercial, real estate, or personal loans;
- Communicate with stockholders or other investors to provide information or to raise capital;
- Evaluate financial reporting systems, procedures and processes, and investment activities and make recommendations for changes to systems, procedures, processes and budgets;
- Establish and maintain relationships with individual and business customers, and provide assistance with problems these customers may encounter;
- Analyze and classify risks and investments to determine their potential impacts on our company;
- Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to assist with annual audits and tax filings;
- Oversee the hiring, training, induction and development of new finance personnel;
- Mentor and support team members in their understanding of financial policies, procedures and systems, ensuring they have the necessary resources to achieve their goals;
- Conduct sales reconciliation and finalisation while collaborating with accountants and team leaders from other departments to resolve queries;
- Oversee the payroll process for our US employees, including commission and bonus preparation, and assist the Chief Financial Officer in implementing new commission schemes.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Humanities or a related field plus two years of full-time work experience in occupations involving financial accounting, management accounting, payroll management or related occupations.
Special Requirements:
Experience to include 2 years in each of the following:
1) Experience using financial and payroll systems, including Xero, Power BI, and iSolved;
2) Experience and knowledge of UK off-payroll working rules (IR35);
3) Experience and knowledge of UK financial accounting and reporting, management accounting, and auditing for an international company; 4) Working knowledge of UK and international tax laws; 5) Experience in managing and supervising finance professionals, including hiring, performance reviews and firing of employees; 6) Experience of maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, auditors and tax advisors.
