A Recruitment Consultant's job in the renewable energy industry within our New York office involves networking with corporations that will be transforming the energy industry now and for years to come. In this role you will be educated within the industry and trained to learn the most efficient networking, market mapping, talent hunting (candidates) and business (clients), career matchmaking, sales and account management tactics.
You will learn to utilize recruitment tools and communicate through various methods such as cold calling, emailing, client meetings, events and job adverts. You will be taught how to best keep in touch with all the candidates and clients you develop within your pipeline over time. You will utilize the commercial knowledge you gain to keep up to date with energy trends to benefit your partnerships by leading consultations. Your market mapping will allow for most effective talent hunting and business development.
When placing a candidate into a client's open role, you will refer to your network and learn best methods for negotiating contracts and closing deals. You will learn Account Management methods to properly maintain exclusive relationships with your clients and receive additional jobs when they become vacant.
Who You Are:
Successful Recruitment Consultants are career driven individuals with strong verbal and written communication skills. To build meaningful yet productive relationships, a Consultant will have strong interpersonal skills, prioritization skills and a high level of emotional intelligence. A Recruitment Consultant should be resilient, hardworking, goal-oriented and ambitious. Within the renewable energy space, a Recruitment Consultant will need to be passionate about the transformative nature and varied level of talent that exists within the industry. Previous exposure to a sales role, sales internship or sales environment is preferred.
What We Offer:
Beyond the career stability and career progression available in this booming market, LHi Group offers a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary, uncapped commission, medical, dental, health, commuter benefits and a 401k plan. You will be granted over 20 days of prorated vacation/sick days.
