Junior Accounts Clerk / Accounts Assistant - £18-23K DOE

Supporting the Financial Controller & team in a busy international recruitment business, this is a great opportunity for a bright, organized individual who is looking to start their career in a finance function.

As you progress your career you will be involved in internal and external supplier stakeholder management. You will have the opportunity to suggest and design improvements, working closely with the finance team to streamline processes.

As an ideal candidate for this role you will have graduated with A-Levels or equivalent as well as possess strong numerical and analytical skills. Some commercial experience in a fast paced environment would be advantageous, although not essential.

We have offices in London, Manchester, Bristol, New York, Santa Monica, Austin, Paris & Munich and supply permanent and contract staff to our clients on a global scale. Our London operation is based in the heart of the City!

You will be responsible for:

  • Invoice processing and reconciliation
  • Handling office expenses
  • General administrative duties
  • Document filing
  • Assisting the contractor timesheet management
  • Additional project and ad hoc support to the wider finance department

Key skills:

  • Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Process / best practice driven
  • High attention to detail
  • Able to work independently towards deadlines
  • Willingness to learn and progress

In your role you will be reporting to the Financial Controller. Ongoing training, support and career development will be provided.
