MY LHi BY ED BEVANS
What were you doing before working here?
Running a life sciences recruitment agency in San Francisco.
The people. Their ambition, vision, drive and shared values attracted me to join.
What makes working here different?
It’s truly a people-first business.
Which office will you make use of your LHi passport to visit when you hit the milestone and why?
Right now I’d say Los Angeles, but with so many new offices opening up that could change!
What’s been your biggest achievement at LHi?
Growing a business from zero to £1 million in three years, raising £12,000 for charity, winning my first-holiday incentive and being crowned back to back Best Banter awards. Not necessarily in that order.
What has a career in recruitment given you in terms of life goals?
The chance to travel. I spent 9 years abroad as a recruiter and had the chance to visit places I never would have imagined.
Tell us one thing you remember about your first day in the business?
Checking my phone 500 times as my wife was almost due to give birth!
If you were writing your autobiography, what would you call it?
Unbelievable Scenes!

MY LHi BY ZANE HIMSWORTH
What were you doing before working here?
Prior to joining LHi, I spent the first 3 years with Artech, LLC. At Artech, I managed the businesses enterprise accounts relationships across Philadelphia and Dallas.
Why LHi?
It was apparent in my first interview with LHi that this company was built different. It all starts with our ability to attract and retain good humans. We are a group of hard-working individuals that truly care about the work we do.
What makes working here different?
I’ve never been a part of a business that mutually cares about an individual’s personal and professional growth. If you work here, you will become a better person.
Which office will you make use of your LHi passport to visit when you hit the milestone and why? OR Which office have you used your LHi passport to visit if you already have done so?
As a foodie, I’d love to travel to Germany. It was my language of choice to learn in grade and what better than beer and pretzels?
What’s been your biggest achievement at LHi?
There are two achievements that drive me to do more:
- Culturally – I had the opportunity to lead a global fitness challenge in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Although we were not in the office it was great to see such an involved business across different time zones committed to fostering avenues for mental and physical health.
- Business – I have been able to build a new successful business unit for LHi NYC that has created new career paths for consultants across all brands. #DELIVERY
What has a career in recruitment given you in terms of life goals?
Recruitment has given me the opportunity to work and call home to 3 different cities in the US. Additionally, I have always been motivated to own and operate a food truck – recruitment has given me the financial freedom to chase this dream upon retirement. (Yes that’s still a long way away)
Tell us one thing you remember about your first day in the business?
The happy, yet humble glow of LHi NYC. It was my first taste of seeing a truly motivated office eager to succeed.
If you were writing your autobiography, what would you call it?
Sports, Recruitment, and Food – A life story of the things that have made me.
