<p>Designability is a charitable organisation dedicated to crafting medical devices and products aimed at aiding disabled individuals in their daily lives. The Wizzybug stands out as an electric wheelchair tailored specifically for preschool children facing conditions like cerebral palsy or spinal muscular atrophy, which limit their mobility.</p>

<p>&nbsp;James Westwood is our Group Principal Partner of Talent, having spent 6 years with the business and multiple relocations, he has worked across our Manchester, New York and L.A. offices! James is a true culture architect within the business, and mainly focuses on hiring our Senior Talent across all regions. Outside of work James is a dad of 2 gorgeous children, his dog Reggie and he loves a run club. The impact James has had across our business can be seen in all of our offices and he is one of the main reasons we have been able to start this podcast, based on the great humans he has hired.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Melissa Reid is our UK &amp; EU Talent Lead and has spent 4 years working with LHi Group. Originally based in our London office, Melissa now works fully remote from her home of Scotland and similar to James, outside of work is a run club enthusiast and dog mum to Chester.&nbsp;</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and improving the health of the world's oceans, waves, and beaches, ensuring access for all now and in the future. Their goal is to create a world where clean water, vibrant beaches, and thriving marine ecosystems are enjoyed by everyone. Through their work and collaborative efforts, they inspire positive change and advocate for the preservation of our coastal environments.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><strong>WHAT DID WE GET UP TO?</strong></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Braving the sun and sand, our LA office came together to take part in a beach cleanup event. Armed with gloves and bags, they combed the shores, picking up litter and debris that threatened our coastlines. But it wasn't just about cleaning up &ndash; it was about making a difference.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">&nbsp;</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Together, our LA office collected an incredible 19 pounds of trash but, their commitment didn't end there. With dedication and care, they carefully sorted through the collected waste, gathering valuable data. This information will be instrumental in supporting policy advocates, providing them with concrete numbers to bolster their coastal advocacy work, campaigns, and legislative initiatives.</p>

Both Matt and Lorna joined us as recent graduates back in 2017. But with our EOT journey we are currently on, hopefully this will help every LHi&rsquo;er break through that financial barrier.&nbsp;</p><p>So, as a group, we&rsquo;re all working towards making LHi being the best business it can be, a people first business, where LHi may not be the final destination for everyone but a stop along the way that helped our &lsquo;good humans&rsquo; achieve their dreams.</p>
