International Women’s Day 2026: Give To Gain
This year’s International Women’s Day theme, Give To Gain, highlights a powerful idea: when organisations invest in women through mentorship, opportunity and leadership pathways, the impact multiplies.
At LHi, that principle is embedded across our business. From internal communities supporting career progression to industry initiatives that elevate women across the markets we serve, we believe meaningful progress comes from consistent investment.
Because when women are supported to grow, lead and influence, businesses and industries become stronger.
How do we support women in leadership at LHi?
Representation matters at every level of an organisation, particularly in leadership.
When women are visible in decision-making roles, it strengthens culture, encourages confidence and creates clearer pathways for the next generation of leaders.
Across LHi, women represent 44% of our global workforce, with 36% of leadership roles (M2+) held by women. In 2025, 48% of internal promotions were awarded to women, reflecting our commitment to recognising and developing talent across the business.
But numbers alone do not drive progress. Structures that support development and visibility are equally important.
How do our LHi-IN communities support women?
Our Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging strategy, LHi-IN, provides that structure.
LHi-IN is built around employee-led communities that bring people together around shared experiences, helping ensure different perspectives are recognised and supported across the business.
One of these communities is WIN, the Women’s Inclusion Network, which focuses on supporting the hiring, development and visibility of women at LHi. Through peer support, open conversations and leadership visibility, WIN helps create space for confidence and career progression.
Last year, WIN leaders hosted a discussion with women across the business centred on equity in recruitment and how to confidently engage with clients on these topics, equipping teams with both perspective and practical insight.
PACE, the Parents and Carers Community supports employees balancing their careers with caregiving responsibilities. Through flexibility, enhanced parental benefits and structured progression conversations, PACE helps ensure that career growth continues alongside family life.
This support is particularly important for mothers returning to work, helping ensure they have the confidence and opportunity to continue progressing in their careers.
How do we develop female talent in sales?
Another key initiative introduced last year is the Women’s Sales Board (WSB).
The WSB was created to recognise the strength of female talent within our revenue teams and ensure there is clear visibility and focus on developing future leaders in sales.
Through advocacy, mentorship and leadership pathways, the board helps ensure that progression in revenue roles is intentional and supported.
Because recognising talent is only the first step, developing it is where real impact happens.
How do we support women across the industries we serve?
Our commitment to women’s progression also extends beyond LHi into the markets we operate in.
Through platforms such as WiLD (Women in Law & Data) and Women in Finance, we host events and build communities that bring women together to connect, share insight and build influence within their sectors.
Events such as Rooted in Security: Women Who Build, Break & Lead provide a space for female leaders in cybersecurity to share experience, challenge industry norms and strengthen professional networks.
Alongside these initiatives, the iAM mentorship programme, spearheaded by our very own, Imogen Simpkin, provides tailored mentorship opportunities for professionals both within and beyond LHi, connecting mentors and mentees across our wider community.
Together, these initiatives help elevate conversations around leadership, mentorship and representation across the industries we support.
Why does investing in women matter?
International Women’s Day is an opportunity to reflect on progress, but it is also a reminder that meaningful change comes through sustained action.
At LHi, investing in women means creating communities, building leadership pathways and supporting progression at every stage of a career.
Because when organisations give opportunity, mentorship and visibility, the return is shared across teams, businesses and industries. That is what Give To Gain means to us. And it is a commitment that continues far beyond International Women’s Day.
