Compensation: Competitive base + uncapped commission (up to 50%) + quarterly / half-year / full-year bonuses + equity

 


The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Principal Recruitment Consultant to join the Key Accounts team at Piper Maddox in New York.

This role focuses on owning and expanding strategic partnerships with organisations shaping the future of clean energy, delivering talent solutions into clients already partnered with LHi Group.

Rather than starting from scratch, you’ll inherit established relationships with high-growth clean energy businesses, giving you immediate access to live hiring demand across renewables, energy technology, infrastructure and sustainability.

It’s an opportunity designed for recruiters who enjoy deep client partnerships, complex hiring challenges and scaling long-term accounts.

You’ll work closely with companies driving the global energy transition, supporting projects and teams across solar, wind, energy storage, grid technology and emerging clean energy solutions.

The Role – Key Account Manager (Key Accounts)

As a Principal Consultant you will:

  • Partner with existing strategic clean energy clients, supporting hiring across technical, commercial and leadership roles

  • Deliver recruitment solutions into organisations across renewables, energy storage, EV infrastructure and clean technology

  • Expand and strengthen long-term client relationships through consultative partnership and talent advisory

  • Collaborate with Piper Maddox teams across North America and Europe

  • Play a key role in scaling client partnerships as the clean energy market continues to grow

 


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Development

  • Strengthen and expand relationships with existing enterprise and high-growth clean energy clients

  • Identify opportunities to grow hiring programs and increase service scope

Delivery Excellence

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across specialist roles within the energy transition market

  • Deliver high-quality candidate experiences and consultative shortlists

Market Expertise

  • Build deep knowledge across renewables, grid infrastructure, energy storage, EV and emerging clean technologies

Team Growth

  • Support future team expansion and mentor junior consultants as the division grows


Who We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years recruitment experience

  • Experience recruiting within energy, infrastructure, engineering or technical markets (or transferable experience)

  • Strong relationship management and account ownership capability

  • Commercial mindset with the ambition to scale accounts and revenue
