The Opportunity
We’re looking for a Principal Recruitment Consultant to support the continued growth of Lawrence Harvey’s AI & Robotics practice in New York.
This is a true 360 role, owning both business development and delivery, with the autonomy to shape your market, define strategy, and scale a desk aligned to client demand.
You’ll operate within one of the most exciting and rapidly evolving technology markets globally. Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Automation and Deep Tech - partnering with venture-backed startups through to global enterprise organisations building next-generation technologies.

The Role - Principal Recruitment Consultant (AI & Robotics)
As a Principal Consultant you will:

Operate as a full 360 consultant, from business development through to placement.

Work alongside a peer with 5+ years experience, to leverage legacyt business with Data / BI etc.

Build long-term partnerships with organisations developing AI, robotics, automation and advanced technologies

Leverage Lawrence Harvey’s global tech network across North America and Europe
-
Shape and scale your own specialist desk within a high-growth market
-
Develop leadership capability with a clear pathway to team build
Key Responsibilities
Business Development

Open and grow new client relationships within the AI, robotics and deep tech ecosystem

Position Lawrence Harvey as a trusted talent partner across startups, scaleups and enterprise technology companies
Delivery
-
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across senior and specialist technical hires

Deliver high-quality candidate experiences and consultative shortlists
Market Ownership

Develop deep market expertise across AI engineering, robotics, ML, computer vision and automation roles

Build your personal brand through networking, events and market insight
Team Growth

Support and mentor future entry-level hires as the team expands

Contribute to building a high-performance culture within the NYC office

Degree educated or 5+ years recruitment experience

Strong 360 recruitment capability

Track record of building markets and developing client relationships
