Our NYC office is at the heart of the Life Sciences hub, and we’re now seeking a dynamic, people-centric Manager to join our growing Life Sciences division, partnering closely with senior leadership to scale one of our most strategic markets.
You’ll inherit a high-performing team of 3–5 recruiters, with a strong track record in MedTech, Pharma, and Clinical placements, and the opportunity to grow into a desk generating significant revenue while shaping the next generation of recruitment talent.
Key Responsibilities
As Team Lead / Manager, you will:

Client Engagement: Lead client briefings, advise on hiring strategies, talent mapping, and candidate profiles across MedTech, Pharma, and Clinical markets.

Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of consultants, fostering high performance, collaboration, and growth.

Process Leadership: Oversee recruitment processes, ensuring an exceptional experience for clients and candidates.

Closing & Negotiation: Guide your team in securing placements, managing negotiations, and maximising revenue.

Business Development: Expand existing accounts, open new specialist markets, and drive team activity toward high-value opportunities.
*This role requires balancing hands-on recruitment with coaching and leadership, creating a motivated, high-performing, and collaborative team environment*
What We’re Looking For

Passion for client-facing recruitment and building lasting relationships

Proven success managing a recruitment desk in Life Sciences, MedTech, Pharma, or Clinical markets

Strong agency recruitment and sales experience

Desire to work in-office in NYC and engage directly with team and clients

Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and able to identify and seize new opportunities

Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
